Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the AXLY mobile application or visiting the AXLY website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AXLY ("we", "our", or "us"). You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.

Description of Service

AXLY is an automotive diagnostics platform that provides the following features through its mobile application and website:

  • OBD2 vehicle diagnostics — read and clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
  • Live engine and sensor data streaming
  • Track timing and performance measurement (0-60, quarter mile, and more)
  • AI-powered diagnostic insights and vehicle assistance
  • ECU coding for supported vehicles
  • Vehicle garage management and service history

Features may vary by subscription tier. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

Account Registration & Security

  • You must provide a valid email address and create a password to register.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.

Subscriptions & Payments

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

  • AXLY offers auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Managing & Cancelling

  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Price Changes

  • We may change subscription pricing at any time. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing period following notice.
  • Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.
  • Use the Service to transmit malicious software or harmful content.
  • Abuse, harass, or harm other users of the Service.
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without authorization.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, content, trademarks, and logos, is owned by AXLY and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You retain ownership of any vehicle data you generate through the Service. However, you grant us a license to use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the Service.

Vehicle diagnostics provided by AXLY are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional automotive advice.
  • AI-generated insights are suggestions and may not be accurate for every vehicle or situation. Always consult a qualified mechanic for critical repairs.
  • ECU coding modifications are performed at your own risk. AXLY is not responsible for any damage resulting from ECU changes.
  • Track timing features are for recreational use. Do not use the app while driving in a manner that is unsafe or violates traffic laws.
  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, AXLY shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

  • You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service or other users.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
